CHAPTER XIV USE OF THE TENNIS COURTS

OBLIGATIONS FOR THE USE OF COURTS

ART. 100.- It is the obligation of all players to know these Regulations and respect each and every one of its articles. Ignorance of the same does not exempt its compliance. It will be the responsibility of the member - player that their guests respect the Regulations.

ART. 101.- The court hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This schedule can only be modified by the Director of Tennis or the administration in special situations and contingencies. The Director of Tennis is empowered to decree the partial or total closure of the courts.

ART. 102.- They can use the courts:

  1. All partners, except those expressly excluded by these Regulations, the Board of Directors or Management.
  2. The guests of the partners who meet the requirements indicated by these Regulations.
  3. Visitors who cover their right of field and meet the requirements indicated in these Regulations.
  4. The persons or groups expressly authorized by the Board of Directors, the Management or the Tennis Committee.

ART. 103.- To use the courts it is mandatory to wear tennis shorts, a t-shirt, tennis shoes with an appropriate sole, racket and regulation ball; The ladies may wear a skirt and a collared shirt or a one-piece dress made for use in the practice of this sport. The use of pants; They will only be used during heating and during cold weather. The use of lycra is allowed as long as they go with shorts or skirts. The Director of Tennis or the instructors will have the obligation to prevent access to the courts to players who, in their opinion, are incorrectly dressed.

ART. 104.- It is the obligation of all visiting players to register at the Reception and get the corresponding ticket, which they must deliver to the staff of the Tennis area, when entering the courts. Visiting tennis players must attend to the following items:

  1. Visitors must pay their fee at the Club Reception.
  2. Only visitors who have delivered their ticket to the person in charge of the area may use the courts.
  3. Court use hours for visitors: Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m.
  4. Visitors must sign in at the "field control" and follow the Regulations.
  5. In case of excess demand for the use of courts, Reception will be notified and no more visitors will be allowed to enter.

FIELDS SECTION

ART. 105.- The allocation of courts will be strictly in order of arrival of the number of players (singles or doubles) and will be done through the "court control" with the Tennis director or the court dispatcher.

ART. 106.- Players must register clearly at the "court control" and respect the entry and exit schedule, even when all are unoccupied and complying with the following subsections:

a.-In the case of a waiting list, the periods assigned are:

a.1For singles play it will be 90 minutes or three sets, whichever comes first.

a.2 For the doubles game it will be 120 minutes or two of three sets, whichever comes first.

a.3 For private lessons or rally with tennis staff 60 min.

b.-For the practice wall (rebounder) it will be 30 minutes. The variation or duration of these periods may be freely modified by the Director of Tennis, according to the needs for the use of the courts and practice wall.

c.-The players must be inside the Club's facilities in order to sign up at the field control.

d.-Players may re-register on the same court respecting the following:

d1.-The players who are playing must finish their game to be able to score again.

d2.- Players who wait for the end of the schedule in a field to use the court, must request it respectfully without entering the courts.  

ART. 107.- The player will only be able to introduce to the field his suitcase with objects proper to the practice of this sport. It will be the responsibility of the tennis player to remove their trash, glass or crockery objects that they have used for food consumption in the stands, being able to place them on the assigned garden table so that the staff can return it to the restaurant.

ART. 108.- Players may use the services of teachers, ball boys (boleros) and/or ball players. Paying at the end of the game the fee set for this service. The fees will be indicated by the Director of Tennis.

ART. 109.- The Director of Tennis and Staff will be assigned courts 5 and 6 to teach basket classes from Tuesday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, any field may be set aside due to the demand for classes requested by the members, respecting the "field control" and signing up to set aside.

ART. 110.- The Director of Tennis will have the power to prohibit the use of any court for maintenance or for reasons that harm them when playing on them or for the safety of the players.

ART. 111.- Only for the celebration of official tournaments will the fields necessary for the event be set aside or closed. Prior publication of the closure.

ART. 112.- During the development of the game, the rules of this sport will be observed, the rules of courtesy for the best atmosphere of the players. No disrespect or inappropriate language will be allowed.

ART. 113.- The Director of Tennis, the Tennis Committee, the Board of Directors and the Management in coordination, are the only ones empowered to organize and schedule internal competitions, as well as designate players and teams that represent the Club.

ART. 114.- The Tennis director will be responsible for coordinating the staff that works on the courts.

ART. 115.- The Director of Tennis and court staff have the obligation to report those players who incur in unsportsmanlike conduct and/or inappropriate behavior.

ART. 116.- When a member makes a commitment to take tennis classes and cannot attend, he must cancel with 24 hours in advance to your instructor, otherwise you will be required to pay for the class. Likewise, the teacher must comply with the same rule, otherwise he must make up the class when the member requires it and according to availability.

CHILDREN – YOUTH ACADEMY

ART. 117.- Players must appear on the courts with clothing and footwear suitable for tennis.

ART. 118.-Students interested in taking the tennis academies must be registered by their parents, filling out the corresponding format that will be available with the teachers.

ART. 119.- In relation to the Quarterly Registrations. the Director of Tennis will designate the group according to the age and level of the student. Partners who join during the semester may be assigned at the discretion of the director.

ART. 120.- Once enrolled, students must comply with the training days. Students must enter their class on time. The tolerance time frames will be determined by the Director of Tennis. Absences will be considered for permanence or not in the team.

ART. 121.- High performance groups will train 4 times a week. Only students who acquire the commitment to the demand and seriousness that is required will participate.

ART. 122.- Students must maintain discipline, politeness and cordiality and follow the teachers' work plan. Otherwise, the following sanctions will be applied:

  • First fault: warning.
  • Second offense: You will be suspended from the class for 1 week.
  • Third offense: will be suspended for the time considered by the director.
